There are nine ways in, plus a sneaky shortcut straight into the Botanical Garden. Here's how to choose: • Want peace and quiet? Use the entrances on Makayonka Street, Parnikovaya Street, or the southwest corner. • Heading for the rides? Go for Kalinina Square, Tolbukhina Boulevard, or the rides alley gate. • Visiting the Botanical Garden, Water Sports Palace, or Children's Railway? There are specific side exits that drop you right there. Check the live map to see which entrances are open right now.
By metro: Get off at Park Chelyuskintsev. Head right out of the underpass for Tolbukhina Blvd, or left for Kalinina Square. By bus: • "Kalinina Sq." and "Park Chelyuskintsev metro" stops (on both sides of the avenue) put you right at the main paths. • "Makayonka St." sits opposite, perfect for the eastern side. Paid parking is available along Nezavisimosti Avenue and near the Water Sports Palace (park side).
The "Zaslonovo" station adjoins the park on the north‑eastern side. The easiest way is to use the entrance from Naturalists Street (look for Nezavisimosti Ave. 86, crossing with Naturalists St.) Take a look at map, Info section.
Absolutely. You'll spot squirrels mostly in the center and south, away from the noisy rides. Pro tip: they love raw sunflower seeds or hazelnuts. Hedgehogs come out at dusk—best to admire them from afar and not pick them up.
Yep. Besides the paid rides, there are free playgrounds and plenty of benches under old trees. The quietest spots are in the center, south, and east of the park.
Dogs are welcome, but keep them on a leash (and muzzled if they're the big type). Bikes are fine too, just ride slow—pedestrians rule here. Leave the e-scooters at home, though. And obviously, no campfires.
Bring snacks and soft drinks, no problem. Just leave the BBQ grills and liquor at home. If you want a beer, grab one at our cafes.
If it starts raining, the rides could stop for safety. Just duck under a cafe awning, grab some ice cream or a hot drink, and wait it out.
The tree-lined alleys, the main fountain, and the rides alley itself are all perfect backdrops. Stick around after dark—the park lights up and stays lit until dawn.
